How To Find And Reply To Ads

Use the search bar at the top of the page to search for ads. Just type in what you want to search for and select the category that item is in. For example if you are looking for a local plumber you will type in 'Plumber' in the search field and then you will select 'Local Plumbers' under the 'Services' category.

After performing your search you will be presented with results and when you click on a listing you will be taken to a new page where you will be able to read the rest of the ad including photos, video, and a contact information if the user supplied one.  

On the left side of each page is the advanced search feature. Using Advanced search you can search for ads with photos, ads with video and urgent ads.

At the top of each ad is a 'Share this Ad' link. This allows you to send a particular ad to a friend who you think might be interested in the posted ad.   

We've also made navigation easier for you to use NewhamLocal.com. The route you have come to get where you are is always inscribed as a line at the top of the page. It shows you how many pages you are from the NewhamLocal.com homepage. Just click on one of the links.

How To Report An Ad

If you think that an ad shouldn't be on NewhamLocal.com, you should report it as soon as possible. At the top of each ad is a 'Report this ad' link. You will be taken to a new page where you can choose a reason for reporting an ad to NewHamLocal.com. Once you report an ad, we will do our best to examine it in detail and if it does not meet our posting rules we will suspend it from NewhamLocal.com without hesitation.

How To Post An Ad

Posting is 'FREE' on NewhamLocal.com.

Click on 'Post Ad' at the top of any page and follow the instructions. Be sure to place your listing in the correct category  and area as we are a local site and cover all local post codes. To attach pictures, browse to the location on your computer where you store your pictures and select them. You can use up to 6 pictures per ad.

To add a video, copy and paste the URL of the video from YouTube into the 'YouTube Video URL' text box.

You can make your ad stand out by selecting either:

- Urgent (fees apply)
- Home Page SpotLight (fees apply)
- Featured Ad (fees apply)

After that type in the security code and click the 'Submit' button and we will take it from there.

How To Manage Your Ads

Click on 'Manage Ads' at the top of the page where you can edit your ad.
